Sisters Margaret and Elizabeth Join Their Family in Tampa
Born in Georgia sisters Margaret and Elizabeth came from a family of sixteen children. They learned early in life that nothing came easy. Both worked in the fields growing up in Georgia from a young age. While Elizabeth found her way to the Tampa Bay area and worked at Tampa General Hospital for 34 years, young Margaret headed north to Delaware, where she lived and worked for 52 years.
“We both worked very hard our whole life” shared Margaret. “When I sold my house in Delaware, I knew that I wanted to move near my family, so I found a house for my sister and me in West Tampa a few years ago and now I’m near my brothers and sisters.”
“We started fixing up the house with a new roof, painting, landscaping and soon realized that we were getting tight on funds” explained Margaret. “My neighbor had worked with First National Bank on a reverse mortgage and she was very happy with the help she got from the staff and the income the reverse mortgage provided and so I thought we should call and see if they could help us too.”
“We are so happy that we have the income to live and enjoy our lives. We deserve this time we worked so hard for. We’re in a nice neighborhood with good people”, Margaret happily stated.
