Florida HECM Borrower, Now Breathing Easy and Smiling Big

Meet Annis from Orlando, a 78 year old lung cancer survivor living on a fixed income struggling to pay the bills each month. “Every month it was getting harder to breathe because my A/C wasn’t keeping the house cool enough for me to be able to breathe easy. I just couldn’t afford the expense of a new air conditioner”, shared Annis.

“Then I saw an ad to call for a free DVD, so I called and started to learn about the benefits of a home equity conversion mortgage and I thought that it sounded very different from the old reverse mortgages that were offered in the past. I showed my kids the information and they all agreed that it was a great option.

I can enjoy being involved with my children/grand children, continue bowling with my friends and singing at my church.
